Abigail represents public and private clients across a broad range of industries and serves as outside general counsel to various for profit and nonprofit entities.
Her practice focuses on corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; corporations; partnerships, joint ventures and LLCs; nonprofit organizations (both public charities and private foundations); sports and entertainment law and sponsorships; naming rights; closely-held corporations, shareholders agreements, employment agreements and restrictive covenants; intellectual property matters; and distribution and licensing agreements.
Abigail was recently recognized for her 40 years of experience providing legal advice to nonprofit organizations and their boards of directors by Corporate America Legal Elite, being designated as the Best for Nonprofit Entities in the State of Florida, as well as by Best Lawyers in America® in their newly-designated category of Non-Profit/Charities Law in the 2018 inaugural edition to present. She has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® in their newly-designated category "Women in the Law" Business Editions in the 2016 inaugural edition to present, and in the category of Mergers and Acquisitions Law, in the 2007 edition to present.
